The Government suspends Head of the SFS Roman Nasirov from his duties for the duration of the investigation

At today’s meeting of the Government, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk proposed to suspend Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov from his duties till the end of the running investigation.

“The National Anti-Corruption Bureau which is in charge for investigating corruption at the highest level of government handed over a suspicion notification to Roman Nasirov yesterday. In my opinion, we have to suspend Mr. Nasirov from his duties till the end of the investigation. This would be in line with Mr. Nasirov’s interests as well as with the purpose of the investigation.This must be made to ensure the unbiased and objective investigation”, the Minister of Finance said.

The members of the Government unanimously supported the proposal.
