On May 8, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk and Yuri Butsa, his deputy in charge for European integration, started their work at the EBRD annual meeting and business forum.
The event is attended by government officials, heads of international financial organizations as well as representatives of big, medium-sized and small business and civil society. The forum will last for three days.
This year’s meeting is dedicated to the topic “Energising Economies”. Discussion points of the agenda include the global economic growth, international investments for developing countries and issues related to the protection of environment.
During his working visit, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine will meet with Cyril Mueller, Vice-President of the World Bank. The parties will discuss the progress of the World Bank Group projects in Ukraine and the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine.
Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk will also meet Minister of Finance of Jordan Omar Malhas to discuss cooperation between Ukraine and Jordan, development of electronic financial services and experience in the international public debt management.
Oleksandr Danyliuk will also meet Yarub Kuda, Minister of Jordan for Trade and Supply to discuss international investments in Ukraine and Jordan and the development of the bilateral trade.
