As a part of the comprehensive reform of the State Fiscal Service, approaches shall be changed regarding the personnel selection at fiscal and customs units. This decision is in line with the Reform Concept for the SFS which was approved by the Government.
One of the planned steps in this regard is to improve rules and procedures for the personnel selection contests as well as to implement staff update and an absolutely open and transparent personnel management policy.
For this purpose, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk instructed the interim head of the SFS M. Prodan to cancel the previously announced employment contests for the SFS and to organize new open contests which must be as transparent and effective as possible.
According to the order of the Ministry of Finance, the Contest Commission of the SFS shall include representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Business Ombudsman as well as experts.
It is also planned to conduct personnel selection contests with the mandatory audio and video coverage.
The new personnel management approaches at the SFS also include the incremental salary increase depending on qualifications and compliance with the set KPIs, re-attestation and re-training of the employees, engagement of new professionals as well as the elaboration of a strategy for the education and training of employees based on international standards.
“It’s not going to be just another rotation of personnel. We are implementing real changes on the way the SFS works and re-loading the system including human resources management”, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk pointed out.
