On March 3, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Institute for Budgetary Affairs and Socioeconomic Research signed a Memorandum on cooperation under the “E-Data” project.
The Ministry of Finance is implementing the revolutionary IT platform “E-Data” which makes public spending transparent, serves the interest of citizens for exact data on public financial transactions and intensifies the crackdown on corruption, since now every citizen can easily and free of charge trace payments effected by all public bodies and state-owned companies as well as identify the recipients, purpose of payments and their amount in the real-time mode.
According to the Memorandum, the Institute will be training entities entitled to manage budget funds on how to use the public spending portal http://edata.gov.ua/. The training will be conducted in more than 10 regions of Ukraine. Also, the Institute will provide methodological assistance in developing the necessary KPI system and the project “Transparent Budget”.
The official web portal “E-Data” is available under the link http://edata.gov.ua/.
