On June 14, 2017, the final meeting of the working group for the draft law on the distributed profit tax took place.
What’s it about?
The Ministry of Finance joined its efforts with business, experts and members of Parliament to develop a draft law on the distributed profit tax which is planned to come instead of the corporate profit tax.
The Ministry of Finance made this process transparent involving all stakeholders. Most than 20 meeting were hosted by the Ministry to let them discuss and solve all issues.
What comes next?
The next step is to assess the impact of the draft law on state budget revenues. Afterwards, the draft law will be agreed with other authorities and presented for a public discussion. Upon that, it will be introduced to the Cabinet of Ministers.
